1986: - ACON (Advanced Connectek Inc.) was renamed and established.
1987: - Design and development of manufacture of PCB and Circular DIN/Coaxial Connectors.
1989: - Hsin-tien (Taiwan) plant getting UL & CSA Safety approvals.
- Design and development of various types of SMT connectors.
1990: - Market introduction of half-pitch series connectors.
1991:
- Set up sales offices in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
- Establishment of Shen-Zhen plant in PRC.
1992:
- Shen-Zhen plant getting UL & CSA Safety approvals.
1995:
- Hsin-Tien (Taiwan) plant got ISO 9002 approval.
1996:
- Establishment of Tu-Chien plant for in house stamping and molding.
1997:
- Certification of ISO 9002 for Shen-Zhen (PRC) operations
1998:
- ISO 9001 Certification for Taiwan.
1999: assembly as a self-sustained operation.
- Involvement in BTO/Global Logistics program with selective MNC's.
2000:
- Actively participating in various International Standards Associations-- setting MiniUSB's 0.8 spec in February 2000. (Further spec version is still in development process.)
2000:- Acquisition of Tiddy Plating (H.K.) to mastermind plating process technologies and ensure quality.
2001:
- ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Hsin-tien(Taiwan) & Tian-Jin(PRC)
- Development and manufacture of IEEE 802.11 Antennas.
2002:
- Built second plant in Shen-Zhen area.
- ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Shen-Zhen (PRC) & Tian-Tidd (PRC)
- Development of Ceramic Sleeve for Optical Adaptor
2003:
- Planning a new plant in Su-Chou (Kun Shan) area.
- Set up sales offices in Korea.
- ISO 9001:14000 Certification for Taiwan. |
